The four days (from Sunday 12th to Wednesday 15th May) dedicated to the national phase of the School Chess Trophy, organized by “Federscacchi” and aimed at all primary and secondary schools in Italy, have just ended.
The team of the “Students” category of the Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei of Ancona, after seven rounds played very well, qualified second, after the team of Rome.
The success of our team was decisive for the placement of the Marche as the third best region in Italy. This position has never been achieved by the region in previous years.
The competition was attended by: Denisa Greere 2E, Chiara Bolognini 3F, Chiara Di Pasquale 3M and Angela Jaining Xu 3M.
