The “cases” of Mitidieri and Argentino hide stories of very little courage and political embarrassments with the opponents of their “boss”
CORIGLIANO-ROSANO – If politics had any crumbs of logic left, the fact that in Corigliano-Rossano as many as two municipal councilors in office with a mayor in office and candidate for his confirmation, are also not included among the candidates on the lists in support of their mayor.
In other times, any journalist would have written about it crying scandal, and would have tried to know the reasons behind these defections to make them public by giving notice to citizens, readers and voters.
The problem is that even journalism has very little logic left, and today almost everywhere it struggles to act as a natural counterweight to the arrogance of power, political power and not only that.
So, today in Corigliano-Rossano the question should be and is:
why are the names of councilors Mauro Mitidieri and Costantino Argentino not among the candidates in the lists of the re-nominated mayor Stasi?
Have they perhaps changed their “coats”?
We know the answer to this last question and it is “No”, they are not on another side – or perhaps one of the two is – otherwise they would have been candidates like several other subjects who have changed their shirt both inside and outside the City Council and who 5 years ago were candidates with Stasi’s current opponents, who are the same as 5 years ago.
However, the first of our two questions remains.
Why didn’t Mitidieri and Argentino run for office, escaping the judgment of the citizens who have governed them in recent years?
Since we are not aware that the two directors in office have problems “of a personal nature”, as journalists we believe that they themselves should publicly explain these failed nominations.

In the political-administrative environments of the citizens, of Stasian Mitidieri it is said thatas 5 years ago, he has once again proposed the candidacy of the former collaborator of his law firm, namely the current and now re-nominated councilor Isabella Monaco.
Therefore, the administrative judgment on Mitidieri should be concentrated by voters on councilor Monaco, already under judgment as an outgoing councillor. If this were the case, councilor Monaco should be applauded for her double courage in having decided to face a difficult electoral competition, considering that 5 years ago she was not among those elected, but entered the Council due to the subrogation of a councilor candidate on his own list whom Stasi appointed councilor. And if she was a woman she wasn’t Mitidieri at all, why even 5 years ago Mitidieri was not a candidatebut Monaco itself “nominated”, and if Monaco was not elected it means that Mitidieri wasn’t that many people ran away with it back then and perhaps even fewer today!

In the same political-administrative circles of the city, a lot of things are said about Argentinobut he is the only municipal councilor of Corigliano-Rossano who can truly be said to have been and to be “on the crest of the wave”, the one certainly “most useful” to Stasi for the bread and circuses which they enjoyed (at a very high price) the acephalous masses anesthetized by concerts and various events organized by the ex Pr of discos in Rome returned to Corigliano and became entrepreneur of amusement factories locals, extending their activities up to Cosenza with the help of some unscrupulous entrepreneurs and some influential politicians from the Cosenza centre-right.
