ROVIGO – Last Saturday 11 May at the Decorative Arts Cultural Club in Piazzetta Annonaria in Rovigoas part of the Month of Photography, the member’s photographic exhibition was inaugurated Marzia Benatelli entitled “Our Land”.
The artist was introduced by the President of the Decorative Arts Club Franco Montanariwho illustrated Benatelli’s artistic career to those present and anticipated the next initiative for October Rodigino which will involve photographers and painters with a project entitled “Journey to Polesine” to discover the delights of Polesine, with the aim of enhancing and promoting the environmental, architectural and monumental beauties and specificities of the province of Rovigo.
Twenty photos taken in the Po Delta are on display in the exhibition, all in color because, as Marzia Benatelli said, “a territory with infinite spaces between water and nature and rich in vegetation could not be otherwise”. “Mine is also – concluded Benatelli – an invitation to everyone to visit and love our Po Delta”. The exhibition, which has the patronage of the Municipality of Rovigo, will remain open until Friday 17 May, with free entry, with opening hours Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10.00 – 12.00 / 17.00 – 19.00.
