The group of those who, from the Cuneo City Council, aspire to a seat in the Region in this electoral round is particularly crowded.
There are three, all an expression of the council majority, but one runs for the centre-right, the other two for the centre-left.
Maria Laura Risso, councilor of the Centro per Cuneo civic group, is a candidate on the Cirio civic list.
Luca Paschiero, group leader of Crescere Insieme, on the Pentenero civic list, which has as its contact the outgoing Turin regional councilor Mario Giaccone (former Monviso list).
Erio Ambrosino, of the PD council group, in the also civic formation (Piedmont Environmentalist and Solidarity), which supports Gianna Pentenero.
However, the expectations of Massimo Garnero, council leader of Fratelli d’Italia, brother of Tourism Minister Daniela Santanchè, who was counting on a place in Cirio’s “list” seem to have been reduced to a minimum.
The “price list” is defined today, but for Garnero, who also enjoyed good family income, there seems to be little chance.
