There is the passage of the Giro d’Italia in Umbria and inevitably there are temporary changes to the road system for Friday 10th and Saturday 11th May. The roads affected are the ‘Centrale Umbra’, the ‘Flaminia’, E45 and the ‘Tre Valli Umbre’. This was made known by Anas.

What changes on Friday

Friday 10 May – explains Anas – from 8am to 5.30pm some junctions will be closed along the state road 75 ‘Centrale Umbra’: the Foligno Nord junction and the Spello junction will be closed on entry and exit both towards Perugia and towards Foligno , while the Rivotorto junction will only be closed on exit for those traveling in the direction of Foligno. Transit along the SS75 ‘Centrale Umbra’ between Perugia and Foligno will be permitted regularly. Furthermore, along the SS3 bis ‘Tiberina’ (E45) the Collestrada exit will be closed for those traveling in the direction of Cesena.

Saturday

Two sections of state roads 3 ‘Flaminia’ and 685 ‘Centrale Umbra’ will be closed on Saturday 11 May from 9am to 4.30pm. The ‘Flaminia’ state road will be closed in both directions from the Eggi a Testaccio junction (km 123,300) in the municipality of Spoleto; the state road 685 ‘Tre Valli Umbre’ will be closed in both directions between Sant’Anatolia di Narco and Piedipaterno (Vallo di Nera); the state road 471 ‘Leonessa’ will be closed in both directions between Ruscio (Monteleone di Spoleto) and the regional border towards Leonessa. Traffic will be diverted with signs on site. The closures will be carried out by law enforcement and Anas teams, in coordination with the prefecture.
