LEGNANO – Legnano was also there yesterday morning, Sunday 5 May, at 71st national Bersaglieri rally in Ascoli Piceno, on the occasion of the centenary of the establishment of the National Bersaglieri Association. Positioned in the middle of the procession that marched through the streets of the Marche city, the city section of the Bersaglieri on leave (in the picture), entitled to the gold medal for military valor colonel Aurelio Robinowas represented by 40 members, 25 of whom are members of the brass band.
The Legnanese representation, led by the president of the section Marco Villa, marched behind the banner with the logos of the city, the association and the centenary. The meeting, upon proposal of the section, was included among the initiatives of the centenary of Legnano Cittàwith the intention of bringing his name to an event which sees the participation of tens of thousands of marchers from all over Italy and which has always boasted great media visibility. The provincial and national medal collections were also present in the procession.
