The Italian Union of blind and gods visually impairedwith the collaboration of the territorial volunteers of the Italian National Union volunteers for the blind they organized a day where children and young people with visual disabilities were able to do one of the most typical things of our cuisine through manual skills: knead And cook there Pizza. Thanks to the participation of the master pizza chef Marco Natale, it was possible for 10 young visually impaired people to experience manual skills and at the same time autonomy in the preparation of one of the most famous foods in the culinary world. The target? A social pizza, where sharing and sensorial and emotional experiences reign supreme.
«It was an exciting day, seeing the kids interested in the techniques of dough, filling and cooking, caused a lot of curiosity and at the same time joy to explode in the laboratory, the awareness of being able to do things brightened everyone’s faces, we can be satisfied with the result achieved: manual skills, autonomy, sharing and conviviality”, commented the president of Uici Caserta, Giulia Antonella Cannavale.
