VILLAMARZANA (Rovigo) – The visit to the monument of the fallen on the anniversary of80th anniversary of the Villamarzana massacre, even Sunday morning with one delegation came from Rho Milan with two buses. The Coordinator is present Paola Cupetti of the Municipality of Rho, the Mayor Andrea Orlandi, deputy mayor Maria Rita Vergani and councilors the councillors Mario Anzani, president Anpi Rho, Bruno Bevilacqua honorary president, brother of Giovanni and Luigi who were killed on 15 October in the massacreand the principal of the high school Rebora Sara Olivari who accompanied one thirty students. An intense morning, ceremony with flag raising and laying of a wreath in honor of the fallen, then various interventions, in particular the reading of a letter written by Bruno Bevilacqua and read by a high school student, who remembered what happened on that day 15 October 1944 with the death of his two martyr brothers, killed at a young age, the difficulty he and his family had after what had happened, a testimony that is still alive, very touching.
