The Municipality of Lucca was a protagonist at the Annual General Assembly of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities – Destination Napoleon which this year was held in Plymouthin Great Britain, from Friday 3 to yesterday (5 May).
During the afternoon plenary session last Saturday (4 May), a delegation from the tourism office of the Municipality of Lucca intervened at the assembly to show the other members of the federation an accurate video presentation dedicated to the cultural tourism heritage linked to the presence of Elisa and Felice Baciocchi and the influence of the Napoleonic period on the territory.
The city of Lucca, having received the title of vice-presidency for the nation of Italy, also had the opportunity to present the provisional agenda of theNext year’s general assembly, which will take place in the city of the Walls from 5 to 7 May 2025proposing a rich program of meetings, initiatives and themed visit experiences which will feature all the places in the city and neighboring territories linked to the Napoleonic period.
