SASSOFERRATO – He surprised her as she was about to get out of the car and launched a series of stabs at her with all the rage possible. There were moments of pure terror in via Bramante in Sassoferrato where a woman was attacked by her ex-husband, who stabbed her several times in a condominium car park: the woman managed to scream for help and her screams were intercepted by a passer-by who rushed to the scene and managed to stop the man while waiting for the police, who took him over.
The attack took place around 1.30pm today (Monday 6 May 2024): the woman was rescued by 118 and the air ambulance transported her immediately to Torrette: she would have been seriously injured but would never have lost consciousness. The man is now in custody for questioning. According to initial rumours, the blade of the knife broke due to the violence of the stab wounds inflicted on the woman.
