Anarcho-environmentalist blitz this morning, Monday, in Busto Arsizio against the felling of some trees to make room for a sports center for padel and five-a-side football in the area of Madonna in the Countryside in Sacconago.
A group of activists who belong to some anarchist groups and from the so-called antagonist area have started a protest against the company that is cutting down the plants in the construction site area close to the athletics stadium, climbing on some trees.
In recent weeks, an online signature collection was started to oppose the construction of the sports center by the municipal administration, which had already been decided over a couple of years ago. However, until the orange nets appeared to delimit the construction site area, no one had ever protested or asked for clarifications despite the news having been known for a long time.
This morning, however, a group of activists from the Busto Arsizio People’s Assembly called together anyone who could intervene via social media, convening a protest that turned into a true act of disobedience.
