Reggio Emilia, 5 May 2023 – Una big brawl it broke out this afternoon in Piazza Martiri on 7 July, in the heart of the historic center of Reggio Emilia. It was around 4.30pm when about twenty young people they faced each other. Some boys were sitting outside the expanse of the bar Cavour. Then, others arrived who sparked a furious discussion which then degenerated into violence. The two factions began to face each other con throwing stones, chairs and bottles. A boy was injured, noticeably losing blood under the arcades of the San Rocco block. The confrontation then moved to the middle of the square in front of the astonished gaze of dozens of citizens who, terrified, took refuge in via Crispi. The boys began to chase each other towards the war memorial and towards the church of San Francesco, while others attempted to break up the fight and restore calm without success. Then everyone involved is ran away towards Via Roma. Shortly thereafter she arrived police with two steering wheels. One of which immediately started looking for the fugitives. The officers collected testimonies and then identified a participant who abandoned his bicycle with the documents.
