The State Police, in collaboration with the Carabinieri, the Financial Police and the Local Police, continues checks in the Railway District.
TWO EXERCISES. Today two provisions for the temporary suspension of the license were notified, pursuant to art. 100 TULPS, issued by the Police Commissioner of the province of Foggia, towards as many commercial activities present in the aforementioned district, suspending their operations for 7 and 15 days respectively.
The checks revealed that the businesses are a regular meeting place for people with police records. Furthermore, hashish was found inside the business, with the contribution of the canine units of the Guardia di Finanza.
IN 2024. Since the beginning of the year, targeted interventions have been planned and carried out on a weekly basis to combat urban degradation, through controls aimed at preventing and repression of forms of commercial illegality and widespread illegality in the area of Viale XXIV Maggio, via Podgora, via The entire “Russian” intermodal hub area likes it. “The important results were obtained thanks to the synergistic operational activity of the Police Forces with general competence in close collaboration with the Local Police” – says Police Commissioner Rossi -.
THE RESULTS. The checks gave the following results:
– n. 3105 subjects identified;
– n. 883 vehicles checked;
– n. 121 verified businesses;
– n. 5 administrative seizures of counterfeit goods (food and non-food sectors) for a total of n. 26832 pieces;
– Narcotic substance subjected to administrative seizure: – gr. 92,454 of hashish and gr. 2,100 of marijuana;
– n. 1 person arrested;
– n. 12 people referred to the Judicial Authority;
– n. 6 reporting to the Prefect of Foggia, pursuant to art. 75 Presidential Decree 309/90;
– n. 2 criminal seizure, ex art. 354 criminal code, against unknown persons, of narcotic substance of the hashish type, for a total of gr. 21.83;
– n. 125 complaints to the CDS;
– n. 10 administrative sanctions;
– n. 2 administrative seizure of a vehicle without insurance coverage;
– n. 1 order of removal from the Police Commissioner.
– n. 3 invitations pursuant to art. 15 Tulps;
– n. 1 provision for suspension of business activity pursuant to art. 14 co.1 Legislative Decree 81/08 for failure to process the DVR – Sanction of € 2500.00
– n. 3 license suspension measures pursuant to art. 100 TULPS issued by the Police Commissioner of Foggia.
