Bears in Trentino: animal rights activists block the A22 toll booth | Today Treviso | News

TRENTNew blitz by Centopercentoanimalisti militants to protest against the bear suppression policies decided by the autonomous Province of Trento. This morning activists blocked an entrance to the Brenner motorway at the Verona Nord toll booth, displaying a banner against Trentino. Some State Police patrols arrived and subsequently the agents identified the militants who at the end of the blockade made it known that the protest of the Centopercentoanimalisti Movement will not stop.

“No respite for those who use the bears to be eliminated in order to build ski slopes, hotels and carry out building speculation, nothing but problematic bears” they declared. “One of the most enchanting regions of Italy, queen of nature, cannot be tainted by the choices of a few politicians completely devoid of empathy and sensitivity” concluded the activists of Centopercentoanimalisti.
