With the arrival of the Giro d’Italia in Umbria and in particular the Foligno-Perugia time trial, scheduled for May 10, the Municipality of Perugia has issued a series of ordinances in the last few hours. After those concerning schools, universities and cemeteries, in the last few hours those regulating transit and parking in the historic center area have arrived. Below we publish the measures in detail.

GIRO, THE ROUTES OF THE TWO STAGES IN UMBRIA
From 2pm on May 9th to 8pm on May 10th:
Permanent parking ban with removal on both sides in Viale Indipendenza, Piazza del Circo, Via Fatebenefratelli, Piazza Italia, Piazza Italia in the Largo della Libertà area, Via Baglioni, Piazza Matteotti, Piazza IV Novembre, Piazza Danti, Via Bartolo, Piazza Piccinino, Via Victor Ugo Bistoni, Via Arturo Checchi.
From 10pm on May 9th to 11pm on May 10th:
No transit in Viale Indipendenza, Piazza del Circo, Via Fatebenefratelli, Piazza Italia, Piazza Italia in the Largo della Libertà area, Via Baglioni, Piazza Matteotti, Piazza IV Novembre, Piazza Danti, Piazza Piccinino, Via Bartolo, Via Victor Ugo Bistoni, Via Arturo Checchi. As an exception to this provision, from 10pm on 9th May to 6am on 10th May the vehicles of residents heading to internal areas are authorized to transit.
From 6pm on May 9th to 6pm on May 10th:
Permanent parking ban with removal on both sides in Via Enrico dal Pozzo (on the entire route between Via XIV Settembre and Strada Perugia Ponte Valleceppi), Via section between Via XIV Settembre and Via Sant’Ercolano) and in Viale Indipendenza (section between Via Sant’Ercolano and Via Marzia).
