“Our student Francesca Lucisano of the 4A of the Technical Institute with Chemistry specialization was selected, being the only Lucanian participant, in the 1st edition of the STEM orientation courses organized by the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, Prestigious and renowned institute in the field of research and training at an international level.
He therefore took part, from 22 to 24 April 2024, at the “Scientists of Tomorrow” internship, aimed at 100 third and fourth year students of particularly deserving Italian high schools.
Our student participated in mathematics lessonson the principles of induction and cardinality of sets, physics lessons, with the study of the motion of celestial bodiesNoether’s theorem and black holes, chemistry and biology lessonswith the general principles of equilibrium and the structure of DNA and nitrogenous bases.
Each lecture was followed by exercise sessions and research seminars were taught by doctoral students.
He had the opportunity to come into contact with an extremely stimulating environment, with the possibility of discussing the topics addressed with teachers and tutors.
To my question about what she particularly liked, Francesca, with her wonderful gaze, behind round glasses, and a low but firm voice, replied that this experience had been an exciting, educational and emotional one. in a prestigious and stimulating reality that allowed her to experience university life first hand.
All our affection goes to Francesca and her family who supports her… we are certain that this is only the first step towards extraordinary goals.
