They all called on the more than 13 thousand Turin members of Coldiretti to mobilize to win the crucial battle against fake Made in Italy food, to counteract the hyper-indebtedness of agricultural companies called upon to make investments in innovation and resistance to climate change.
No discount to politics, neither in Europe nor in Piedmont
«Coldiretti – reiterated Bruno Mecca Cici looking at the next regional and European elections – will not make concessions to politics, especially regional politics. It is true that we have chosen to bring our battles to Europe, where the most important decisions for the future of agriculture are made. But it is in the Region that these policies are interpreted and too often implemented with directions that damage agricultural businesses and with them the social stability and environmental protection of the territories. We won’t give discounts to anyone. Coldiretti asks for respect for agriculture and coherence on the part of those who, in words, say they defend the work and income of farmers but then humiliate our businesses with wicked choices.”
