Modenesità Award to Beppe Zagaglia. The recognition was presented to him in the Sala dei 400 at the Fair during the appointment with the Unione Società Centenarie Modenesi: first, the ‘Loyalty and Solidarity’ awards were recognized to the members who contributed to the development of the association. Then it was the turn of photographer and artist Beppe Zagaglia, “one of the most authentic and appreciated interpreters of the spirit of the Geminian land”. Meanwhile, thousands visited the Trade Fair which ended yesterday after five days of opening. “A reciprocated love between the people of Modena and one of the longest-running trade fair events, which has reached its 85th edition this year – observe the organizers – Fashions change, but the Campionaria confirms that it is now a classic of trade fair events in Viale Virgilio”.
The approximately 40 thousand meters of exhibition space were animated by over two hundred exhibitors in a context that develops in the wake of tradition but, at the same time, “dynamic and constantly evolving, capable of telling a cross-section of the most genuine and authentic Modena spirit”. Alongside historical sectors – interior and exterior furniture, food, restaurants, clothing, objects and accessories for the home, gardening – this year the Modena Motor Gallery space has been added – passion, “a tribute to the Geminian engines and the space dedicated to consumer electronics”. Two novelties, the latter, much appreciated by the public as well as the shows offered at the Radio Stella Village which saw people such as Marco Ligabue, Andrea Mingardi, Alberto Bertoli on stage.
“Having archived this edition with satisfaction, we are now thinking about the next one with the awareness that, without in any way betraying tradition, it will be even more attractive and in step with the times”, commented Francesco Milaneschi, CEO of Multimedia Tre, organizer of the event.
