The Burcina di Pollone Park or rather the Burcina Park “Felice Piacenza” Nature Reserve, for the people of Biella, is the park par excellence, the place where you can take pleasant walks alone or with friends and family, but many tourists have also appreciated this place so much so that it has entered the list of the most beautiful parks in Italy, as well as being nominated by the FAI as a Place of the Heart.
On the basis of an agreement between EGAP Ticino and Lago Maggiore and the WWF of Biella, the latter is assigned tasks for the management of guided tours and environmental education and other dissemination activities, such as for example the Library in Nature, inside the Casino Blu of the Burcina Park.
EGAP Ticino and Lago Maggiore » and WWF Biella are also involved in the management of the Green School Biella » which carries out part of its activities in the structures of the Burcina Park.
The activities are conducted by the technical staff of the Botanical Garden of Oropa, Clorofilla Soc. Coop.

APGI-Associazione Parchi e Giardini d’Italia promotes the “Appointment in the Garden” initiative, scheduled for Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June 2024 with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and ANCI, the national association of Italian municipalities.
The event, conceived as an authentic “garden festival”, was created in accordance with the “Rendez-vous aux jardins” initiative, which will take place simultaneously in over 20 European countries.
The initiative aims to invite the general public to discover the surprising historical, artistic, botanical and landscape richness of Italian gardens: an opportunity to introduce the public to gardens that are normally closed and to enrich the possibilities of enjoying gardens that are regularly open with ad-hoc events and activities.
On Sunday 2 June, the “5 senses in Burcina” guided tour will be offered at the Burcina Park, a route lasting approximately two hours, suitable for everyone, in the company of an Environmental Hiking Guide.
