The Buffalo food festival returns to Jesolo town, the traveling music and street food format that last year brought thousands of people to the streets. The event, promoted by the Municipality of Jesolo and Fiva Confcommercio, aims to do an encore after the first, very successful edition. There are five days to mark on the calendar, from Saturday 27 April to Wednesday 1 May in Piazza JF Kennedy: there will be around thirty stands offering various specialties of Italian and international cuisine, beer and lots of fun with various artists from the Italian music scene.
The event aims to help keep the center of Jesolo alive and vibrant, a city too often remembered only for its beaches: «Jesolo is alive all year round – explains the president of Fiva Venezia, Mirco Zanchetto –. With this event we demonstrate that Jesolo is a protagonist even in the low and medium seasons. Buffalo Food Festival is a national event, it received excellent feedback in 2023 because it is able to attract both young people and families.”
The program
The second edition of the Buffalo Food Festival opens its doors on Saturday 27 April and will continue until 1 May: five evenings to enjoy and dance starting with Rumatera, a punk rock band from the province of Venice. Following on the console will be the turn of Radio Piter Pan (Sunday 28th), DJ Matrix and Matt Joe (Monday 29th), the format I want to go back to the 90s (Tuesday 30th) and finally Igor S & lady Brian (Wednesday 1st May).
