Cavese-Team Altamura, the Serie D championship round begins

The Serie D. La Scudetto match will start on Sunday 12 May Cavese is looking for an encore – and it would be the first club in the history of the competition – after winning the tricolor in the 2002-03 season, under the technical guidance of Mario Somma.

Home start for the eagles, included in the triangular group with Team Altamura and Trapani. On Sunday at 4pm the game will be played at the Simonetta Lamberti against the Apulian team, coached by Mimmo Giacomarro, who won the championship in group H of Serie D. The Sicilian battleship will instead rest and will enter the game from the second day.

In case of victory, Cavese will rest on the second day. In the event of a draw or victory for Team Altamura, however, the eaglets will visit Trapani on May 15th. Third and final match of the first round scheduled for May 19th. The winners of the three triangular tournaments and the best second will advance to the semi-finals – scheduled for May 26th and June 2nd.

In the next few days the Interregional Department will communicate the methods of playing the final. Should it be played in a single match, a neutral venue will be chosen and it will be played on 9 June. In the case of a formula with home and away matches, the matches will be scheduled for 8 and 12 June.
