VIAREGGIO. On Sunday our city hosted the Deejay Ten for the first time which brought around 7 thousand fans with their blue and orange t-shirts, who invaded the city depending on the route taken. For the majority of citizens it was a success, and even the tourist operators were fully satisfied. For someone else, however, the restrictions on circulation were an inconvenience. And there was an episode involving a motorist who removed the barriers – placed in several places along the routes for safety reasons – to pass the car anyway. The driver – according to the testimony of those who witnessed the scene – went up the pavement at full speed and started screaming.
Some offended a security guard while she was doing her job, busy checking the route and preventing cars from passing. The woman, according to the story of those who witnessed the scene in shock, was insulted and threatened. The first in the line of vehicles, who had probably removed the barrier, after the repeated offenses even tried to run over the security guard with his car. A demonstration of total incivility and rudeness, a gesture certainly to be censored in the most total way.
«The Walk was invaded by festive and cheerful people, lots of color and lots of music. These are initiatives that are good for the city and for tourism”, declares the owner of the Perla del Tirreno in Passeggiata bathing establishment, who had some of the participants arriving from outside as guests both on Saturday and Sunday.
