Saturday 27 Aprilat 7.00 pminside the church of Santa Maria della Stellathe initiative entitled will take place “Church and convent of Santa Maria della Stella: a jewel Invisible”dedicated to one of the most interesting and least known places of worship in the city of Catanzaro.
The meeting is strongly supported byCulturAttiva association for the need to highlight one of the many pieces that make up the rich historical, cultural and artistic heritage present in the city. Places which, despite their value, are “invisible”, in the sense that they cannot be perceived or experienced because they are unknown and this prevents a correct and exhaustive narration of our territory.
The initiative which will take place inside the church of the Star on Saturday 27 April will give participants the opportunity to learn more about the history and characteristics of the church and also of the convent adjacent to it and this thanks to the participation of some illustrious experts: Don Maurizio Franconiereresponsible for the cultural heritage of the Catanzaro – Squillace Diocese; Francesca Ferraro, architect; Alessandro Mercurio, architect (specializing in history and conservation of architectural and environmental heritage). The meeting will be moderated by Angela Rubinopresident of the CulturAttiva association.
