Six students at the boarding school Canopoleno have been selected to participate in the national session of European Youth Parliament. It will take place in Milan from 26 to 30 April. The students are: Francesca Biddau, Beatrice Lo Chiano, Chiara Peigottu, Giovanna Sanna, Annalisa Secchi And Eleonora Rita Taviani with the teacher Lianda Cubeddu. All fourth and fifth year students European Classical High School. In Milan, they will work with the other selected institutes (coming from all over Italy) to discuss and discuss important issues such as neurodiversity, economic development in rural areas, and how to bring young people closer to European institutions.

“The elements of growth emerge from the comparison – underlines the rector of Canopoleno, Stefano Manca -. In this respect, our kids will be able to make the most of a unique experience in all aspects. To know and learn in broader contexts which, as in the case of the European Parliament, involve us all.” This is a great international opportunity for students, who debate and discuss extremely complex and current resolutions in English, just like their adult colleagues in the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
