The coach of Tezenis Verona Alessandro Ramagli comments on the narrow home defeat in game 1 against Wegreenit Milano: “These matches are won on episodes. In the episodes we made three very serious mistakes: two turnovers in regulation time which could have been avoided, and which probably would have allowed us to keep the head forward, and an extra rotation in extra time when we should have left a shot from below instead of leaving an extra pass for the equalizer. These are matches like this, balanced, vibrant that are played on episodes. And in the episodes we have had some responsibility that we pay by going 0-1 down. There is a lot to blame the team for. The team has put in all the energy it had, also looking for structures that are not usual, complicated in some ways and determined by the absence of Gabe Devoe. The truth is that if we had avoided those 2/3 points in those important moments we would probably have won the first match. That’s not the case.
