Esperia secures for the next sporting year the talent of Vera Bondarenko (daughter of Tatiana Voronina) Italian Champion with Foppapedretti Bergamo in 2004) Vera 4th place striker born in 2002, who in the past has had experiences with Anderlini Modena (B2), San Donà and Acqui Terme in B1, as well as a move to A2 in Sassuolo in 2021-2022. In the last season she played in Castellana Grotte in group E of series B1, contributing to their permanence in the category.

“Hi, my name is Vera, I was born in Poland but until I was 14 I lived in Ukraine – this is how the new yellow-blue spiker introduces herself – I started playing thanks to my mother, Tatiana Voronina (Italian Champion with Foppapedretti Bergamo in 2004): it was she who made me fall in love with this sport that I have been practicing for fourteen years now.”

With emotion, Vera remembers her past. “I believe that the best moment of my career was the move to Italy. I will never stop being grateful for the opportunity that was given to me seven years ago and, thanks to this, I can learn and grow more and more every year.”

The spiker then turns her gaze to the season that will begin in the next few months. “I already knew the club, given that four of my former teammates played in Cremona and always spoke well of them to me. I chose Esperia mainly to live a new experience, but above all for the project of society in general. I’m very happy with this opportunity, I know it won’t be easy given that I have little experience in A2, but I’m ready to grow and above all to give my contribution to the team. It will certainly be a year full of emotions and I can’t wait to meet my new teammates.”
