Truly suggestive option: go down to the foot of the Rocca, having the skyline in sight Corso Garibaldi with the bell tower of Hagia Sophia, it could be an intoxicating feeling for arriving travellers. However, it is necessary to deal with the difficulties associated with the transit of bulky vehicles, a problem regulated by the union ordinance which from 2020 prohibits tourist buses from entering the historic center. Aspect addressed by Ambrosone: «If we were to focus on the area near the Rocca dei Rettori to create a stop, it is clear that we will modify the 2020 ordinance to update it in light of this new need. We have already identified in principle a route to be assigned to tourist buses: the lower part of Viale degli Atlantici, turn left onto Via Ferrelli, travel along Via De Caro, turn onto Via Calandra and then join the road network already prescribed by the ordinance. in force which conducts buses along via Martiri di Nassiriya, via Posillipo, up to the area near via Munazio Planco where tourists are made to board after having visited the entire historic center and the Roman Theatre. Solution that now appears to be defined regarding the stopping of students in the upper area. The stalls that can be obtained in the area could thus be as many as 7 or 8, so as to allow the appropriate replacement of buses arriving at peak times. The reorganization will be completed with another stopping point in the lower area in via Paolo Diacono, near the central station, and with the main parking in the large internal courtyard of the Coni headquarters.
