Are you ready to return to the park, or rather, to the Jurassic world? The new announced film by Jurassic World is taking more and more shape and after the first news comes now news of a new entry in the cast.
According to what was reported by The Hollywood Reporteranother big star will join the group that will continue the franchise started by Steven Spielberg. It’s about Rupert FriendBritish actor whose career is dotted with great titles: after making his debut with The Libertine And Pride and Prejudicewe have seen it in films like Decameron Pie And Van Gogh – On the threshold of eternity.
In recent years he has joined the circle of Wes Anderson: the iconic director wanted him with him in The French Dispatchin Asteroid City and also in the short film The Swan made by the same filmmaker for Netflixas part of the work on the catalog of Roald Dahl. On the small screen, however, he was among the protagonists of Homeland, Obi-Wan Kenobi (as the Grand Inquisitor) and Anatomy of a scandal.

It has not been announced what role we will see him in Jurassic World, but apparently he will be among the main protagonists. He therefore joins two great stars such as Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey, an actor fresh from the success of Bridgerton ready to be part of this great franchise.
As known, the film will be directed by Gareth Edwardsdirector of Godzilla and the recent The Creator. The screenplay will be edited by David Koepporiginal pen by Jurassic Park And The Lost World: Jurassic Parkbut plot details are still under lock and key.
Filming is expected to begin mid-June to July and the next release date Jurassic World it is fixed to 2 July 2025.
