Margherita Vicario presents Gloria! at Cinema Eden :: Events and Culture

Saturday 20 April, on the occasion of the screening of the film “Gloria!” at 9.00 pm, director Margherita Vicario will be at the Cinema Eden in Arezzo to answer questions from the public. The event is organized by Officine della Cultura.

Exceptional evening at the Cinema Eden in Arezzo for the screening of Margherita Vicario’s directorial debut film, “Gloria!”, on Saturday 20 April. The screening at 9pm will in fact be enriched by the presence in the room of the young Roman singer-songwriter, actress and director who, at the end of the screening, will stop to answer questions from the audience. At the dawn of 1800, the Sant’Ignazio religious institute must prepare for a historic event: the new Pope Pius VII emerges from the Venetian conclave, who for the occasion will visit all the churches of the Veneto and will attend an organized concert in Sant’Ignazio for him. The imminent visit throws the institute into turmoil and, while the choir master, Perlina, struggles to compose something for the occasion, the waitress Teresa, a girl who does not speak but who possesses great musical talent, discovers a musical instrument of a new invention: the piano.
