Important numbers in this last month for Trapani airport, which recorded a clear increase compared to previous months: 874 movements in April
Thanks also to the returns of April 25th and May 1st and the first wave of tourism, the airport of Trapani is back to producing important numbers. He makes it known anyway Airgest. The data speaks for itself, with more than 110 thousand passengers and 874 movements. As regards the increase compared to the months of January, February and March, we find a +180%, +261% and +281%, while compared to April 2023 a slight decrease of 9% – which however also depends on the 2% of fewer flights -.
Between operational routes we find Manchester, Seville, Malta, Bratilslava, Riga, Billund, Baden-Baden, Dusseldorf, Katowice, Toulouse and Charleroi, while Bordeaux and Porto will be added next month.
Trapani, flight load factor increasing: “Attractive for companies”
Another important fact, as communicated in these hours by Airgest, concerns the filling of flights with 87% between Katowice and Charleroi, together with Seville. Baden-Baden and Riga instead score 84% and 86%. The numbers are even higher broken national, which with Treviso, Malpensa and Turin reach peaks of 89% average occupancy.
Savior Shadow, president of Airgest, expressed his satisfaction with this start of the summer season in a note. Data which according to the president confirms a good trend, close to that “Great for 2023 which we hope to get closer to.” He concludes: “Such high load factors are an attraction for airlines which may decide to make further investments in the Trapani airport”.
