The prefect of Pesaro Urbino Emanuela Saveria Greco signed yesterday at the Government Palace a supplementary act to the Pact for the implementation of urban security – called Sophia Project – together with the presidents of the trade associations of the province of Pesaro-Urbino, Confindustria, CNA , Confcommercio, Federfarma, Confartigianato, CIA, Confesercenti.
The aim of the act, which involves the creation of a digital mapping of video surveillance systems for the entire territory, is to expand remote public monitoring in urban and industrial areas and in peripheral neighborhoods that still lack it.
The signatory Associations undertake to raise awareness among their members of the potential of the Pact and to identify their own technical contact person who will be the point of reference for all registered companies that want to participate in the digital mapping of the project with their own systems.
After thanking the representatives of the participating associations, the prefect underlined the importance of the project «which expands ‘out of all proportion’, increases the integrated security of the territories, concretely realizing the extraordinary spirit of collaboration and unity that characterizes this province in all its components, institutional and civil, in the name of security”.
