It will be held on Saturday April 20th the Congress in Palermo“Care-Related Infections 2024 – The challenge for scientific societies”sponsored by OPI Palermo.

The event aims to provide the tools aimed at management and prevention of infections related to assistance in the clinical care setting.

Healthcare-related infections are infections that affect both the patient and the healthcare worker and represent one of the greatest challenges for their safety today, in fact they have a high clinical, economic and social impact.

The event received the patronage of scientific societies ANIPIO (International Scientific Society of Infectious Risk Specialist Nurses, ANIARTI (National Association of Critical Care Nurses), AICO (Association of Operating Room Nurses), ANOTE-ANIGEA (Scientific Society of Endoscopy Nurses). The Scientific Societies will be protagonists of the first session of the morning and with their respective Presidents will take stock of the situation on role of the nurse in the different areas of action and the state of the culture of infections.

In fact, scientific societies are increasingly taking the topic to heart in order to increase awareness of how much the training and the competence are tools for improvement in the treatment process.

The conference will be opened by greetings from scientific managers: Dr. Vita Grazia Casesi, Dr. Zina Picciuca and Dr. Maria Grazia Randaccio. This will then be followed by the various sections dedicated to scientific societies and clinical cases, with approaches linked to the perspective of the healthcare worker and the systemic network in which he is inserted.

To participate you must register online; I am ECM credits provided for nurses.
