TRENT. The “Chiodo d’oro Sosat” award, awarded as part of the Trento film festival, was awarded to two family businesses that stood out for theirapproach to mountaineering, practiced according to the founding values of Sosat. This is – according to a note – the family from Trentino Mazzalaiconsisting of Catherinethe brother Richard and the son of the latter heliumand the Venetian family made up of Sara Avoscan and her husband Omar Genuin.
“Two roped parties that express not only our most important values, that is, frequenting the mountains in friendship, in a spirit of solidarity and with respect for the environment, but which above all constitute testimony to how the passion for mountaineering can flow and find lifeblood also and above all in the family context, understood in its broadest sense, becoming a precious and shared asset that is handed down, with its natural evolutions, from generation to generation”, explained the president of Sosat, Luciano Ferrari.
The award, in its nineteenth edition, was established by the workers’ section of the Sat as part of the “Cordate del Futuro” event, organized in collaboration with the Trento Film Festival. For the first time it expands its borders to the Triveneto. The award ceremony will take place on Thursday 2 May, at 5.30 pm, in the Representative Hall of Palazzo Geremia.
