The schools of Grotte Santo Stefano, Bagnaia, San Martino al Cimino and Tobia will be an exception.

On the occasion of next May 7th, the day set for the cleanup of the war bomb found in via Alcide De Gasperi, in light of the downsizing of the “red zone” (1400 meters from the point of discovery of the war remnant), some important announcements are made updates regarding schools in the municipal area.

All schools in the municipal area of all levels – municipal, private and private, including nurseries – both inside and outside the area affected by the evacuation activities (so-called red zone), will remain closed..

This decision arises from consideration of the high number of institutions that would otherwise have remained outside the red area following its reduction, and, consequently, of the high movement in the number of students which could have interfered with the evacuation operations.

The schools of Grotte Santo Stefano, Bagnaia, San Martino al Cimino and Tobia will be an exception and will remain open regularly. and for which the school canteen service and the school transport service will be guaranteed by the Municipality of Viterbo.

The appropriate ordinances will be issued in the next few days.
