ANCONA – The Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei of Ancona, which is already part of the national network of schools of peace, will take part Friday (April 19), at 9 am, at a meeting with Dad Francis, in the Vatican. In front of the pontiff, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, a delegation of ten students of Galileo.
Train a new generation of peace builders. With this objective, in the Paul VI Hall of the Vatican City, the Holy Father will meet around 6 thousand students, teachers and school leaders from the National Network of Schools of Peace. In total 137 schools from 94 cities and 18 regions.
The meeting with Pope Francis is an integral part of the 2023-2024 national civic education program entitled “We transform the future. For peace with care” aimed at educating young generations to care for themselves, others, the community, the environment and the world as an instrument of peace and transformation of the future.
