Here is a summary of what the administrators said: “We are working hard to implement a series of interventions that involve different areas of city life, from education to culture, from sport to the environment.
Let’s start with education, which is the pillar on which to build the future of our children. We are planning the construction of new nursery schools both here in Ragusa and in Marina di Ragusa, to guarantee our little citizens a safe and stimulating environment from an early age. Furthermore, we are working on the creation of a modern nine-section nursery school, complete with educational laboratories, canteen and large outdoor green areas, to offer quality education to our young people.
Moving on to sport, we are investing in the construction of a new multipurpose gym next to the sports school. This facility will be equipped with facilities for basketball, volleyball and fencing, thus offering our athletes an adequate place to train and compete. Furthermore, we are working on the renovation of the athletics track and the turf at the Petrulli sports facility, a project much awaited by sports lovers in the city.
But that is not all. We are also dedicating resources to culture and the recovery of our historical heritage. The recovery of Villa Moltisanti for cultural activities is about to come to life, as is the restoration of the Vallata Santa Domenica over an area of 70,000 square metres. Furthermore, we are working on the functional recovery of the former Teatro della Concordia and the redevelopment of Palazzo della Cancellaria in Ibla.
These are just some of the projects we are carrying out to make Ragusa a better city for all its inhabitants. It’s a commitment that takes time and resources, but we are determined to make it happen. We thank everyone who is contributing to these projects and invite our citizens to join us on this journey towards a better future for our city.”
