CATIGNANO. The president of the Province of Pescara, Ottavio De Martinis, together with the mayor of Catignano Enrico Valentini, the provincial technical director engineer Marco Scorrano and the technicians Mauro Di Blasio and Valentina Scutti, started the redevelopment works of Provincial Road 35 Catignano Tarallo, an important artery connecting Val Pescara and the Vestina area.

The delivery of the works, which was also attended by the managers of the executing company Strade e Ambiente Srl and Pamela Giancola, director of the works, represents a lot in terms of redevelopment and making the provincial roads safe.

“The intervention, financed with PNRR resources through the Abruzzo Region, the Regional Civil Protection Agency – explains President De Martinis – will allow the consolidation and restoration of the stretch in question, affected by important hydrogeological instability. Furthermore, on the same artery, the regulation of surface and deep water will be carried out as well as the restoration and consolidation of the road surface. A significant intervention worth 931,533.44 euros, whose deadline is scheduled for next October, yet another work carried out in recent years by the Provincial body for which I extend heartfelt thanks to those who, together with me, they are working to ensure easier and safer traffic in the area.”
