On May Day, Workers Day, transforms into a harmony of notes and rhythms that resonate throughout Italy. This timeless link between music and celebration finds its maximum expression in Rome May Day concert, which every year hosts on its stage the best artists of the Italian music scene and beyond. In the wake of the Concertone di Roma, which this year will exceptionally take place at Circus Maximusare organized for May Day concerts also in the rest of Italy and in Marche There are so many appointments that are unmissable.
Modena City Ramblers – Corridonia (30 April – 9.30pm)
On the evening of April 30th in Corridonia, in Viale del Lavoro, the Modena City Ramblers will perform, an absolute cult band in the folk-rock music scene, which mixes Celtic, punk and Italian folk influences. MCR have often participated in concerts and events on the occasion of May Day, celebrating the values of solidarity, work and resistance through their music and their social commitment. The Corridonia concert is part of the “Riportando tutto a casa” tour, which collects the band’s greatest successes recorded between 1994 and 2004. The event is free and organized by CRAZI (Corridonia Industrial Area Association Recreational Committee).
Zero Assoluto – Porto Sant’Elpidio (1st May – 7pm)
One of the most loved pop bands in Italy arrives in Porto Sant’Elpidio, known for their radio hits which have become true generational anthems. “Waking up in the morning”, “To forget”, “Simply” and all the greatest hits of Zero Assoluto can be sung in Piazza Garibaldi starting from 7pm with free entry.
The Welfare State – San Benedetto del Tronto (30 April – 9.45pm)
Lo Stato Sociale, an emblematic band of the new Italian indie scene, will perform in San Benedetto del Tronto on April 30th. The concert, organized by Primo Maggio Agraria, promises to be full of energy, irony and social commitment. With their songs that mix brilliant lyrics and infectious rhythms, Stato Sociale will perform in Piazza Sandro Pertini starting at 9.45pm. Entrance is free.
Ince and Spender – Civitanova Marche (1 May – 1pm)
The successful Netflix series “Nuova Scena”, in which Fabri Fibra, Geolier and Rose Villain go in search of the best talents of the new generation of the rap scene, moves to rivera and for the occasion becomes “Nuova Civitanova”. In fact, two protagonists of the series, Ince and Spender, arrive at the Antonio Balneare, who will warm up in public with their bars in a live DJ set. The event is organized in collaboration with PUMP.it, Smash Events and Gen Z. Entry on the list costs 10 euros, non-list entry costs 15 euros. The venue reserves the right to select at the entrance.
Conny Ochs – Recanati (30 April – 10pm)
The Conny Ochs tour arrives at the Circolo Arci La Serra in Recanati. A live show of unconditional authenticity, which manifests itself in a variety never seen before made of melancholy and madness, wear and tear and hope. The concert is scheduled from 10pm onwards.
Svicolando PreFestival – Montecassiano (1st May – 6.30pm)
Svicolando, a characteristic festival of Montecassiano dedicated to art in all its forms, anticipates its traditional summer appointment with a PreFestival. Music, food and street art will therefore be the protagonists on May 1st in the alleys of the center of Montecassiano starting from 6.30pm.
Molella – Porto Sant’Elpidio (1st May – 2pm)
World-famous artist and one of the best-known Italian DJs, Molella arrives at the Bagni Pazzi in Porto Sant’Elpidio for the May Day celebrations. Free entry and guaranteed fun.
