After two consecutive victories, CCE LSB Lecce found themselves facing league leaders Canosa in a hard-fought match, but in the end they had to surrender 79-90 at PalaVentura.
Despite the defeat, coach Michelutti’s men held their own against the opposing team point for point until the last minutes of the game. Mocavero’s performance stands out, scoring 19 points, while Cantagalli, Prete and Coppola contributed with scores in double figures. However, the prolificacy of Murolo, Migliori, Pallara and Ordine ultimately made the difference for Canosa.
The match was characterized by a first quarter in which CCE LSB Lecce had to recover a 6-point gap, while in the second period Canosa managed to widen the lead up to +13. However, the hosts reacted energetically, managing to end the second quarter with a gap of just 4 points.
