The residents of Tivoli have been complaining for some time about the lack of lighting in the various streets and roads where their homes are located. “Does the Province intend to provide or should we go back to oil torches?” This is the complaint from Nicolò Saetta, President of the “A Viso Aperto” association, thanks to the numerous reports from many residents regarding the state of total abandonment.

It is incomprehensible how it is possible that all of Tivoli has been completely in darkness for almost a decade – continues Saetta -, a large residential area where many families live. There are more than one hundred lighting systems that need to be restored, a job for which the funds have already been allocated by the Region but which to date cannot yet be spent due to the absence of a project. We are aware of the many difficulties that our province has to face, confident that its restoration, with first or second level elections, can bring it back to full capacity. In the meantime, however, a greater effort is needed to provide answers to a territory that has been waiting for many years.

Finally, the President urges the Free Consortium to also take care to ensure efficient weed control activities. “Summer is now upon us – concludes Saetta -, fortunately the scorching heat has not yet arrived but this has not prevented more or less scattered fires that have begun to afflict our territory, mindful of past experiences it is necessary to start immediately with targeted interventions especially near residential areas
