Doctor Paolo Vittorini elected vice president at the 11th AICPE national congress


L’AQUILA – Doctor Paolo Vittorini is the new vice president of the Italian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, AICPE.

Paolo Vittorini, a well-known cosmetic surgeon from Abruzzo, operates in L’Aquila in the Villa Letizia clinic and practices his profession in other clinics in the capital.

During the 11th AICPE National Congress held in Rimini, the new Board of Directors was elected, responsible for the next two years.

Dr. Roberto Bracaglia is the new President of AICPE, Dr. Paolo Vittorini Vice President, Dr. Gabriele Muti remains Treasurer, while Dr. Luca Cravero remains National Secretary. Councilors: Dr. Ernesto Buccheri, Dr. Barbara Cagli, Dr. Pierluigi Canta, Dr. Alessandro Gualdi and Dr. Giovanni Zabbia; the Probi Viri will be Dr. Alessio Caggiati, Dr. Egidio Riggio and Dr. Adriano Santorelli.

The 11th AICPE National Congress, which has 550 members among the most talented Italian cosmetic surgeons, closed with a record-breaking result: 400 members, 108 speeches, 48 ​​exhibiting companies and 4 round tables.

We talked about aesthetic surgery of the gaze and face, body reshaping in men, post-bariatric surgery, breast surgery and breast implants, but also breast oncoplasty and the surgical path in gender dysphoria.

One of the fundamental assets of the Association is the constant updating of aesthetic plastic surgeons with the aim of improving the techniques and knowledge of members to protect patient safety, the main aim on which the AICPE code of ethics is based.

“I like to define our discipline as a “surgery of being” and not of appearing”, says the AICPE vice-president, Dr. Paolo Vittorini, “The woman’s need to resort to the surgeon always starts from a profound need, her request arises from psychological discomfort and almost never from a simple habit. This is why we want to please patients so that the result they wish to achieve is actually the same as what they see reflected in the mirror.” “I am proud of the AICPE nomination, we will also carry forward theAICPE Academy of Aesthetic Surgery, a project dedicated to the training of young cosmetic surgeons which started in 2023, with the aim of transmitting the knowledge acquired by the most experienced members to future aesthetic plastic surgeons. The association, in fact, is increasingly focusing on young professionals, committing itself to transferring all of them to new surgeons scientific knowledge useful for training the new generation of aesthetic plastic surgeons”, concludes Vittorini.
