A worker is died in an accident at work that occurred this morning in Fiume Veneto (Pordenone), in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The victim was operating from a truck with a crane who was hit by the same «forks» with which he was lifting materials. The machine has it thrown to the soil from a few meters high. Death occurred instantly. On site, in addition to the staff of the Sores Fvg health operations center, also the firefighters, the carabinieri and the health authority inspectors.
The victim was 69 years old
The fatal accident occurred on a construction site outside a warehouse farm of farmyard animals, in via Kennedy, in Fiume Veneto. According to what Ansa has learned, the victim had 69 years old and worked for
a outside firm in charge of the construction works. The medical helicopter was also sent to the scene, but there was nothing that could be done. The medical examiner declared the death due to traumatic cardiac arrest. The accident area
was cordoned off.
