The Sporting Club Saronno does not disappoint expectations on his home debut: in first day of the FITP men’s Serie B2 championship the Saronnese beat Tirumapifort Chivasso with the score of 4-2. A not so easy day, the one against the Piedmontese, served to get Saronno running in and on the fast indoor courts of Via Garcia Lorca took the first points in the standingsmaking it immediately clear what the team is made of.
For Sporting the Carnevalle victories, Morolli And Collars in singles, respectively against Grieco, Sosso And Heat (6-4 6-0 in favor of the first, 6-0 6-1 for the second and 7-6 7-6 for the third). The situation after the singles stood at 3-1 for the defeat of Turconi who, despite the good intentions and the good form he had told us about, suffered a KO against Capello 6-1 7-5. A double each, finally, with the victory for the Collarini-Morelli couple and the defeat of Negrello-Turconimeant that the contest ended with the definitive 4-2.
A good start, therefore, for the team of captain Maurice Husband which, for the record, succeeded on Sunday also win the third category men’s doubles tournament in Vedano Olona together with their son Philip.
A very sweet Sunday, that of the captain of Sporting Saronno who is aware of the incredible potential of your team in a group that is however complicated and full of pitfalls. But if “those who begin well are halfway there” with Saronno on the pitch we will see some good things.
