San Biagio, the new clinic rejected

Even just the word antenna, those over 30 meters high, is scary. The other evening the municipal administration called a public meeting at the Acli club of San Biagio to inform citizens about the findings carried out by a technician in via Fosso, where there are three poles, two of which already host mobile telephone antennas. Engineer Luca Fenucci has drawn up a report which shows that there were eight detection points, the one with the greatest electromagnetic field along Via Fosso, the closest to the antennas, but with a value of 1.31 volts per metre, at below the alarm threshold of 6 V/m. In three of the eight measurement points the reading was below 0.35. “The measured electric field levels surrounding the new pole installed by Inwit, currently without antennas, were found to comply with the provisions of current regulations – writes the engineer -. In San Biagio it is plausible to hypothesize a relocation of the Telecom and Vodafone systems from the current co-siting situation with Wind Tre on the new pole installed by Inwit”. Reassurances that keep the population at bay, albeit not by much. He shared the story of a woman from Bologna who bought a house in via Quercetti and only learned later that an antenna will be installed opposite. On the issue, Dino Latini also presented a regional law proposal to the public: “Up to 19 are popping up one after the other in Osimo, as made possible in the regulation approved by the current administration with the approval of a good part of the minorities”. The Glorio lists reply: “There is state legislation which severely limits the competence of the Municipalities: the mobile telephone networks are, in fact, considered by the State as strategic infrastructures. The Municipalities can equip themselves with an antenna plan and in fact Osimo too has one”. There is also another issue being debated in San Biagio. The Municipality has just received the opinion from the Basin Authority which highlights the impossibility of building the new headquarters of the clinic in the warehouse in via Ancona. The private owner, who must transform the artisanal structure into a healthcare facility, asked the Municipality for permission to build and as required by law, since it is a Prg area subject to hydrogeological constraints given the proximity of the Offagna ditch and the San Valentino ditch, he had to request an opinion from the Authority. “The opinion could be modified only with the construction of the priority hydraulic works, the six expansion tanks, but the funds available for which are sufficient to do three and the executive planning must first complete the expropriation process and then go to tender – says Mayor Simone Pugnaloni – When the intention to move the Osimo clinic from the center was announced, we warned Ast and the Region that that area was critical, which was another reason to invite the regional administration again to divert Pnrr funds to ‘hospital”.
