Speed cameras in Lombardy during the May Day long weekend

Speed is one of the main risk factors behind the wheel, which is why in the week of the May Day long weekend, with a greater flow of vehicles on the roads, the Lombardy traffic police decided to intensify checks. The speed cameras will be positioned in strategic points on motorways and state and municipal roads, with the aim of reducing accidents and ensuring compliance with speed limits.

Here’s where they will be positioned:

On 30 April, motorists traveling on the A9 Lainate-Chiasso motorway, in the section in the province of Como, will have to pay particular attention to the speed limits. On the same day, checks will also be carried out on the Strada Comunale SC Meda – Via Vignazzola, in the province of Monza and Brianza.

The control calendar will continue on May 1st with the installation of speed cameras on the A60 motorway in the province of Varese, while on May 2nd it will be the turn of the State Road SS 671 of the Seriana Valley, in the province of Bergamo.

On May 3, speed cameras will be active on the SS 9 Via Emilia state road, in the province of Lodi. This stretch will again be under surveillance on 4 and 5 May, demonstrating the importance that the authorities attribute to this specific route.

On May 4, speed control devices will also be positioned on the A4 Turin-Trieste motorway, in the Milanese section, and on the A7 Milan-Genoa motorway, in the province of Pavia, as well as, again, on the SS 671 of the Seriana Valley in Bergamo.
