Big party in Bastia for Umbria’s return to Serie A

BASTIA UMBRA – An April 28th that Bastia Umbra will probably never forget. A promotion on the last day that offers unique emotions, infinite joy, enormous satisfaction for the sacrifices made over the course of a sporting year that had become tremendously complicated in recent Sundays.

Joyfully, the players, led by president Mammoli, achieved their goal of winning the championship and returning Bastia to Umbria’s Serie A.

From the beginning of the season, the objective was clear: win the title and obtain promotion. The team did so, with a record of only three defeats throughout the entire championship.

The final verdict arrived on the last day with the victory at home against Amerina and the concomitant defeat of Campitello, who proved to be a very respectable opponent. An overtaking on a curve that sent the red and white people into raptures.

Now the celebrations of the warm and numerous fans who throughout the championship, both at home and away, colored the stands with banners, smoke bombs and songs can begin.
