Certa Stampa – REGION/ MARILENA ROSSI ENTERS THE REGIONAL COUNCIL WITH FDI, SUBROGATES APPROVED

The Conference of Group Leaders, meeting this morning, validated the proposal of president of the regional council, Lorenzo Sospiri, establishing the date of the new session of the legislative assembly for next Tuesday 23 April. The draft agenda seen by the group leaders provides for the presentation of the government programmatic lines by the President of the Council and the acknowledgment of the subrogations which will give the green light to the accession of five new regional councilors to the Council. The latter is a theme at the center of the work of the “Election Council” composed, in fact, of the same members of the Conference of Group Leaders, who this morning also voted to identify the names of the candidates in the latest regional elections who will replace the Councilors initially elected but then appointed councillors. The names of the “surrogates” are: Carla Mannetti for the League (L’Aquila district), in place of Emanuele Imprudente; Marilena Rossi for Fratelli d’Italia (Teramo district), in place of Umberto D’Annuntiis; Maria Assunta Rossi for Fratelli d’Italia (L’Aquila district), in place of Mario Quaglieri; Antonietta La Porta for Forza Italia (L’Aquila district), in place of Roberto Santangelo; Francesco Prospero for Fratelli d’Italia (Chieti district), in place of Tiziana Magnacca. The opposition group leaders abstained from the vote in the case of identifying the candidate Maria Assunta Rossi, who however obtained the majority of votes in favour. Tomorrow, during the Presidency Office, the proclamation of the surrogate Councilors will take place, it will then be in the Regional Council on 23 April that the acknowledgment of the elected ones will be confirmed. The five new Councilors will officially take office the day after the meeting.
