WATCH THE VIDEO SERVICE. The redevelopment works on the property owned by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, in via S. Francesco d’Assisi 4 in Udine, begin today, with the aim of giving new life to a building that has an important history and is city ​​centre. The renovation will allow Insiel spa to transform the building into a new headquarters so as to dispose of the premises in via del Cotonificio where it is currently rented.

The central location of the building will be able to help open up new collaborations and bring the in-house ICT company of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region even closer to the world of universities, citizens and businesses. It is the summary of the intervention of the regional councilor for Heritage who today spoke at the ceremony for the start of extraordinary maintenance works for the reuse of the regional property to be used for future Insiel offices. Present at the event, among others, were the sole director of Di Betta Giannino srl, the company that was awarded the contract for the works, and the sole director of Insiel spa who, in highlighting the relevance of the project for the city and Insiel employees expressed satisfaction with the start of the works. With a regional investment of over 4 million euros, the redevelopment will allow the recovery of a property to be returned to the community, strengthen Insiel’s presence in the city and, at the same time, increase the workers’ sense of belonging to the area.

After the approval of the technical and economic feasibility project and the implementation of the authorizations by the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Udine, the design process involved the drafting of the executive project for the tender for works which, at the beginning year, was awarded by Di Betta Gainnino srl of Nimis. The project, in the inter-organic administrative delegation to Insiel of the design and implementation of the interventions, involves the conservative renovation of the building for environments dedicated to offices in smart working mode where the company will transfer part of its organization.

The property is spread over four levels above ground, of which the first and second are intended for office use, while the third is for technical areas. The ground floor, with the exception of the entrance, is owned by another property. The duration of the works is set at 424 days.
