Walk through the center with your dogs: “Corri Dog” returns to Bergamo

Next Sunday, April 21st, Bergamo will host the tenth edition of Corri Dog, together with the nineteenth National Guide Dog Day, organized by the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired, territorial section of Bergamo, in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Bergamo.

The city will welcome dogs accompanied by their owners, on a suggestive route through the streets of the centre: it will be an excellent opportunity to indulge in a walk in the open air, in the company of many four-legged friends. At the start, set in Piazza Dante, an expo area dedicated to the canine universe will be set up.

The day will start at 9am with the meeting in Piazza Dante and registration, at a cost of 10 euros per dog. At 10am the tenth Corri Dog starts, which will end at 11.30am with the awards ceremony. Each participant will be given a numbered bib, which will allow them to participate in the prize draw. The exhibition of the dog schools is scheduled from 2.30pm.

In fact, several schools that train guide dogs will be present at the event: the national guide dog school for the blind in Scandicci (Florence), the Helen Keller guide dog school for the blind in Messina, the Triveneta Selvazzano Dentro guide dog school for the blind in Padua and the Argo dog rescue dog club of the national Alpine association, Bergamo section.

All proceeds from the registration fees will be collected directly by the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Bergamo.
