After last year’s success, when thousands of people invaded the streets waiting for the Liberation Day procession, on Sunday 21 April another Anti-fascist raid will cross the city with a nocturnal and traveling happening of artists, actors, musicians and performers.

In the streets of the center – announces the Movement Studies Center – the sirens of the anti-aircraft alarms, the smoke of the bombings, the nailed footsteps and the orders of the executioners will echo, the roundups of Nazis and fascists of the RSI will be staged but the choices of the protagonists of the Liberation movement, with their difficulties in taking on the resistance against a regime that seemed unbeatable, with the extraordinary novelty of being able to share, men and women, the experience of a struggle that not only radically changed their conscience but also the history of our country.

“We will celebrate the Liberation as the victory of a new world should be celebrated, with passion, music and celebration, with the participation of many artists and musicians who will offer their talent to that world”.

The Scorribanda will start on Sunday 21 April at 9pm from Piazzale San Francesco.

The project, curated by the Movement Studies Center and the Municipality of Parma, sees the artistic direction of Yele Canali Ferrari and Riccardo Reina, and the historical consultancy of Margherita Becchetti, William Gambetta and Ilaria La Fata. With the participation of Beatrice Baruffini, Yele Canali Ferrari, Coro dei Malfattori, Emanuele Nidi, Oltrecoro, Francesco Pelosi, Riccardo Reina, Agnese Scotti, Student*del Cut and the Paolo Toschi Art High School.
